OL Keaton Bills, previously from Utah, signs up with  Buffalo Bills.

SALT LAKE CITY: After the 2024 NFL Draft, former Utah Utes offensive lineman Keaton Bills signed a free agent contract with the Buffalo Bills.

After the draft on Saturday, April 27, the Utah football program verified Bills’ signing.

Buffalo selected Cole Bishop, a teammate of the Bills from Utah, in the NFL Draft.

The former star player for Utah will join Buffalo, a squad that finished 2023 with an 11-6 record.

In 2019, the offensive lineman enrolled at Utah to begin his collegiate career. Bills was a redshirt freshman who participated in three games. The 2020 season was abbreviated, and the Bills played in four games.

Bills participated in 12 games in 2021, which was his first notable game action. Of those games, he started eight. A year later, Bills received honorable mention on the Pac-12 All-Conference team and started 12 of Utah’s 14 games. Bills assisted the Utes in winning back-to-back Pac-12 championships in 2021 and 2022.

Bills started 12 games in the previous campaign and was named to the Pac-12 Honor Roll for the second time in a row.

The lineman appeared in 45 games and started 36 while with the Utes.
