Done Deal: Houston Texans Head Coach Just Confirm The Signing Of Another Record Breaking Star Player Who Will……………….

Why the Bills General Manager Sought to Trade Stefon Diggs During the Offseason.

The Buffalo Bills’ decision to cut Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs stunned the NFL community. The fact that Diggs was traded by the Bills to the Houston Texans, who have the potential to be a dominant AFC team in 2024, is even more bizarre.

The Bills handed Diggs over along with a 2024 sixth-round selection and a 2025 fifth-round selection, in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick. With Diggs added, the Texans’ offensive onslaught might be far more expansive, making them the apparent beneficiaries of this trade.

With the emergence of rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud, the Texans emerged as a sneaky playoff possibility. At the end of the 2023 campaign, he had 23 touchdowns, 5, interceptions, and 4,108 yards.

Both Tank Dell and Nico Collins, wide receivers, had successful seasons. Collins gained 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns, while Dell gained 709 yards and seven scores. Dalton Schultz, a tight end, also gained 635 yards and five touchdowns.

With 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns in another excellent season with the Bills, Diggs left everyone wondering what went wrong to force his trade. The Texans might be a real contender for the Super Bowl in 2024 if they add Diggs to their lineup in addition to their current arsenal of offensive weapons.

The explanation for the Bills’ extreme willingness to part with one of their most valuable weapons has now been provided, as many have long questioned. In an interview with The Athletic, Bills general manager Brandon Beane explained the reasoning behind the trade of the Pro Bowl pass catcher.
