Sad News: MINNESOTA VIKINGS Just Confirm That Record Breaking Star Player Might Have Just Obtain A Career Ending Injury And May Be …………………………..

Vikings Are Aware of Possible Injury Risk to Quarterback J.J. McCarthy.

The future of the Minnesota Vikings is riding on rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy, and it’s never too early for a team to start mitigating injury risks before they become real issues when it comes to quarterbacks.

Since offseason work started in earnest earlier this month, Alec Lewis of The Athletic has been observing McCarthy throughout workouts. Lewis has provided some insights into McCarthy’s throwing ability and the possibility that his mechanics could be causing health problems for his right arm based on what he has observed.

Coaches of pitching frequently say, “The ball explodes out of his hand.” Lewis said on Wednesday, May 22, “The same cliché applies to McCarthy, whose ball spirals through the air so tightly you almost expect flames to flow from behind.” “He moves fluidly and with effective mechanics to generate his velocity. The Vikings will need to keep an eye on the torque on his arm, if anything.

Lewis went on to detail any future worries with McCarthy’s elbow that might surface.

Lewis stated, citing The Purple Persuasion X report, “McCarthy’s mechanics look clean, and you don’t generate the velocity he does without having efficient movements, beginning with his lower body.” But occasionally, he has a tendency to overstride, which can make him rely more on his arm—something he can occasionally succeed at doing. Consider Matthew Stafford [of the Los Angeles Rams], for instance. He is a prolific thrower who has had to modify his training regimen in recent years due to elbow issues.
