Nico Collins, a star wide receiver for the Houston Texans, recently inked a new deal. The two parties decided on a three-year extension, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
According to reports, Collins, who will enter the last year of his rookie contract in 2024, was offered a $72.75 million contract. It has a $52 million guaranteed minimum and a $75 million maximum.
The Texans have not yet made the deal official, but Schefter has already received confirmation from Collins’ agents Jason Rosenhaus, Drew Rosenhaus, and Ryan Matha.

Considering that Collins only had 70 catches for 927 yards and three TDs in his first two years in the NFL, this might be a risky move for the Texans.
