Breaking News: Buffalo Bills signal-caller Josh Allen Has Been Facing Some Initial Criticism On His Controversial Statement About……..

Rival Quarterback Draws Attention With Remark about Josh Allen, the QB for the Bills.

Regarding Buffalo Bills signal-caller Josh Allen, C.J. Stroud is now modifying his opinion after initially drawing flak for his quarterback rankings.

After making waves by omitting Allen from his rating of the best five quarterbacks in the league, the quarterback for the Houston Texans later released a fresh ranking in which he replaced Allen with Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Before resorting to social media to update his list, Stroud originally made his initial list public in an Instagram teaser for his June 2 appearance on the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast. In it, he ranked himself above a number of well-known quarterbacks and initially ignored Allen.

When Stroud listed the top quarterbacks in the league, he went with Patrick Mahomes, the pick that was most popular. Along with Hurts and himself, he also included Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and two-time league MVP Lamar Jackson.

The omission of quarterback Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals and Allen off the list garnered immediate attention. Later, Stroud shared another list to his Instagram stories and showered the Bills quarterback with love, as CBS Sports’ Bryan DeArdo observed.

“In his revised ranking (which he shared on Instagram), Stroud maintained the order of the top three quarterbacks, but he moved Josh Allen to the No. 4 slot, moved Prescott to the fifth and final spot, and left Hurts off,” DeArdo observed. “Stroud went on to say that he believes Joe Burrow to be one of the top 5 quarterbacks in the NFL. Burrow was undoubtedly excluded from Stroud’s list because of his injury, which kept him out of action for over all of the 2023 campaign.

This is not the first time this offseason that an Allen stray ranking has gone viral. At a charity event in Buffalo last month, former Bills safety Jordan Poyer expressed his admiration for the fans and created a stir with a statement on Allen.

“I loved every moment of it,” Poyer said of his time with the Bills. “Sorry we couldn’t get it done, but you’ve got the best quarterback in the league. I know that might go viral, but that’s OK.”

Though Poyer has never been shy about sharing his admiration of Allen, the statement drew some attention as he has since signed with the rival Miami Dolphins to play alongside quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
