Sad Bills News: Buffalo Bills Josh Allen Just Confirm The Death Of His Fellow Super Star Player In Recent Interview .

Though his first day of mandatory minicamp ended on a frightening note, wide receiver Khalil Shakir is anticipated to be the Buffalo Bills’ primary returning pass-catcher.

The third-year receiver was hurt during practice on June 11 and taken off the field with an undisclosed ailment, according to reporter Sal Capaccio of WGR 550.

“Today’s Bills minicamp is over. WR Khalil Shakir seemed to have a lower body issue, and he left practice early, according to Capaccio’s post on X. After a while of conversation with the trainers, he hobbled off the field, into the fieldhouse, and vanished from sight.

While the extent of the injury was not immediately clear, it could give a scare to a Bills offense that will look very different in 2024.

Bills Do Not Reflect The Current Status of Khalil Shakir.
Shakir’s condition had not been updated by the Bills in the hours following his initial collapse. Shakir suffered the injuries after he fell forcefully to the ground during a passing drill, according to Batavia Daily reporter Alex Brasky.

“At the start of team drills at the mandatory minicamp for the #Bills on Tuesday, Khalil Shakir appeared to have an injury,” Brasky posted on X. Shakir attempted to make a grab during a 7-on-7 play, but the pass was incomplete, thus she fell hard to the ground. After receiving care from the trainers, he exited the practice field.

The Bills did get some other good news on Tuesday as linebacker Matt Milano took the field for the first time since suffering a fractured leg last season.

The Bills have witnessed drama involving a top wide receiver on the first day of minicamp for the second season in a row. Diggs was sent home early by head coach Sean McDermott last year following an undisclosed conversation with the coaching staff. After being traded to the Houston Texans this summer, Diggs has been a focal focus of drama because of his enigmatic posts, which seemed to indicate that he wasn’t happy with the team.
