🐊 BREAKING: Gators Closing In on 4 New Commitments – These Prospects Could Push Florida’s Class to #1!

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators are gaining momentum on the 2026 recruiting trail, with a surge in predictions favoring them to land several top prospects during their second official visit weekend of the summer.

On3 insiders Corey Bender and Blake Alderman have projected Florida to land three-star offensive tackle Javarii Luckas (Glades Central, Belle Glade, Fla.) and four-star running back Carsyn Baker (Langston Hughes, Fairburn, Ga.). Baker had already been projected to Florida earlier by On3’s Steve Wiltfong.

In addition, both Bender and Alderman forecasted a commitment from G’Nivre Carr, a three-star interior offensive lineman from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

Alderman also made several other predictions in Florida’s favor:

• Three-star OT Chancellor Campbell (Lakewood, St. Petersburg, Fla.)
• A flip from Louisville commit Jaydin Broadnax, a four-star cornerback from Boca Raton (ranked No. 15 at his position by Rivals)
• A flip from Florida State commit Darryon Williams, a four-star athlete from Plant High in Tampa (ranked No. 17 athlete nationally)

These predictions came as Luckas and Broadnax visited Gainesville for official visits over the weekend. Meanwhile, Campbell and Williams are scheduled to visit on June 6.

The new wave of predictions for Luckas, Campbell, Broadnax, and Williams adds to existing forecasts for the Gators to land:

• G’Nivre Carr (OL)
• Carsyn Baker (RB)
• Malik Morris (4-star LB, Lakeland, Fla.)
• Valdin Sone (4-star DL, Blue Ridge School, VA)
• Vodney Cleveland (4-star DL, Parker High, Birmingham, Ala.)
• CJ Hester (4-star DB, Cocoa, Fla.)
• Kekua Aumua (3-star TE, IMG Academy, Bradenton)

As it stands, Florida holds two early commitments in the 2026 class:

• Will Griffin, a four-star quarterback
• Jamir Perez, a three-star defensive tackle
