CLEMSON, S.C. – Brad Brownell and the Clemson Tigers continue to ramp up their recruiting efforts, recently extending a scholarship offer to Dean Rueckert, a highly regarded 2026 small forward from Timpview High School in Provo, Utah. The 6-foot-6 four-star standout is quickly becoming one of the most coveted wings in his class, and Clemson is now officially in the mix.

Rueckert has made a name for himself nationally, especially with his standout showings on the EYBL circuit for the Utah Prospects, where he averaged over 10 points per game in a spring tournament. He was even more dominant during his junior season at Timpview, posting 18.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game.

Clemson’s offer adds to Rueckert’s growing list of suitors, with schools such as BYU, Utah, Stanford, Cal, Washington, and Utah Valley already actively recruiting him. Kentucky has also reportedly begun to show interest, signaling the high level of competition for his commitment.

According to 247Sports, Rueckert is ranked No. 45 overall nationally, the No. 18 small forward, and the No. 2 player in Utah for the 2026 class.

This offer marks the second four-star recruit Clemson has targeted in May, following a previous offer to in-state standout Kmajay Jenkins. Brownell’s approach clearly reflects a commitment to pursuing top talent from both within South Carolina and across the country as he continues to shape the Tigers’ future.
