So far this season, Peralta has been dominant. Through 12 starts, he owns a 2.77 ERA, nearly 2.0 WAR, and one of the highest ERA+ marks of his career. He consistently racks up strikeouts and limits contact, making him a top-tier target for any contender.

For the Yankees, adding Peralta could be a game-changer. The rotation has been inconsistent beyond Max Fried and Carlos Rodón. Gerrit Cole is out for the year, Luis Gil is battling a lat injury, and Will Warren has shown flashes but remains unreliable. Slotting Peralta in with Rodón and Fried could give New York one of the best front-end trios in baseball.
