Giants Host Four Free Agents at Minicamp as Roster Evaluations Continue

The New York Giants have already made their biggest offseason moves—selecting two first-round picks and signing key players like quarterback Russell Wilson, safety Jevon Holland, and cornerback Paulson Adebo. But while the major acquisitions are done, the coaching staff is still hard at work evaluating the bottom of the roster ahead of training camp.

With minicamp wrapped up and a quiet stretch ahead until late July, the Giants are continuing to assess fringe players on the 90-man roster in hopes of uncovering developmental talent or depth for the final 53-man squad.

On Tuesday, the Giants brought in four free agents for a look at minicamp, according to Big Blue View: safeties K’Von Wallace and Millard Bradford, edge rusher Kenny Dyson, and offensive guard Carter O’Donnell.

Wallace was the most notable name in the group. After a rocky 2024 stint with the Seahawks and previous time with the Cardinals, Titans, and Eagles, Wallace is best known to Giants fans from his time in Philadelphia. While his coverage skills have been inconsistent, his ability to play the run, contribute on blitzes, and provide special teams value keeps him in the mix for a roster or practice squad spot.

Bradford has only logged special teams snaps in the NFL. O’Donnell, undrafted in 2020, offers positional flexibility at both guard spots and finally saw game action in 2023. Dyson, a smaller edge rusher lacking top-tier athleticism, appeared in two games for the Panthers last season.

Though it’s tough for players added this late to crack the final roster, Wallace may be the best bet from this group to stick around when training camp kicks off.
