Latest New : Just In Texas Rangers Injured Pitcher Receives Big News About His……………….

Nathan Eovaldi, the starting pitcher for the Texas Rangers, is being sent to New York City for a second opinion over a groin problem.

Nathan Eovaldi, the starting pitcher for the Texas Rangers, received positive news on Monday following a second exam on his strained groin.

After placing Eovaldi on the 15-day injured list on Friday due to a groin strain, Rangers manager Bruce Bochy informed the Oakland media that Eovaldi sought a second evaluation in New York City.

A sports hernia could be ruled out by the physician.

Rangers shortstop After surgery on January 30 for a sports hernia, Corey Seager missed the most of spring training. Eovaldi’s lone injury is a strained groin, and according to Bochy, he should be back by May 18, which is when he first becomes eligible.

Due to discomfort in his right groin on Thursday, Eovaldi had to leave his last start against the Washington Nationals.

This season, he has made seven starts and is 2-2 with a 2.61 ERA.

Eovaldi, the team’s Opening Day starter, probably won’t require a rehab start if he’s prepared to go back at the conclusion of his 15-day stay.

Due in part to the fact that it was September and the Rangers were in the thick of a postseason chase, Eovaldi did not receive a rehab assignment upon his comeback from a month-long arm injury sustained the previous season. He was a major contributor to the Rangers winning their first World Series.

On Monday, the Rangers began a four-game series in Oakland. There will be a doubleheader in the series on Wednesday.

It is unlikely that the Rangers will start a pitcher on Tuesday or in the second game of their doubleheader on Wednesday. José Ureña might start for the team on Tuesday, Bochy said reporters.

Jack Leiter, who made another spot start during the Rangers’ four-game series against Detroit last month, could be called up by Texas.
