After trading All-Pro wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans earlier in the summer, the Buffalo Bills shocked the NFL.

It was an action that had to be taken to preserve cap space.

Recently, Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane discussed the reasons behind the trade of their former star player on “The Athletic Football Show.”

“You have a lot of weight…From a cap perspective, we chose to just consume it right away.We believe we can compete,” said Beane.

This Bills club should be competitive in every game with Josh Allen.

He possesses the capacity to lead the squad to victory by raising them up on his shoulders.

He has demonstrated it.

It will undoubtedly require some tweaking now that Diggs is not present.

While with the Bills, he was selected to four consecutive Pro Bowls.

He has over 100 receptions, 1,100 receiving yards, and eight or more touchdowns every year from 2020 to 2023.

The former Viking produced a ton of stuff.

To improve the passing offense, Josh Allen will need to rely on players like Curtis Samuel, rookie Keon Coleman, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Chase Claypool, and other recent arrivals.

In Houston, Diggs will try to produce similar results with standout quarterback C.J. Stroud.

The Bills’ choice to trade Diggs to a different Super Bowl contender was an intriguing one.

In Stroud’s rookie year, the Texans offense won a division last year, and it looks like one of the greatest in the league.

Diggs, Nico Collins, Tank Dell, and Joe Mixon have the potential to emerge as the league’s next great group of talent players.
