The Braves (30-38) hadn’t hit a three-run homer since April 23, but that changed in a big way as Michael Harris II and Marcell Ozuna each went deep with three-run shots—highlighting a rare offensive outburst for a team that had gone just 5-20 in its previous 25 games.

Bryce Elder, dominant in his last start with 12 strikeouts over eight innings, struggled this time around. He lasted only 3.1 innings, giving up four earned runs on seven hits and three walks. Despite allowing 14 hits—tied for the third-most the Rockies (13-56) have recorded in a game this season—Atlanta’s offense picked up the slack.

The Braves close out their series with Colorado on Sunday, then gear up for a crucial 13-game stretch against NL East rivals beginning Tuesday.
