Congratulations to singer-songwriter Teddy Swims (born Jaten Collin Dimsdale) and his longtime partner Raiche Wright on the arrival of their first child, a son born on June 23, 2025!

The couple confirmed the birth in a joint Instagram announcement on June 27, sharing tender black-and-white photos of their newborn cradled in loving hands. The caption simply read, **“6.23.25. We love you lil man.”**

Teddy and Raiche broke the news of their pregnancy back in January 2025, posting beachy maternity photos with the caption “We can’t wait to meet you baby 🤍✨.”

On The Kelly Clarkson Show, Teddy shared the charming story of how they discovered the pregnancy: after noticing unusual symptoms on tour, they stopped at a Texas Buc-ee’s in matching onesies for a pregnancy test—then nicknamed their unborn child **“Baby Buc-ee.”**

Both parents are musicians—Teddy’s soulful, genre-blending sound shot him to fame, while Raiche, raised in Pittsfield and Atlanta, has been building her own career since releasing her 2019 EP DRIVE and 2023 album Loveland.

In March, Teddy admitted to Capital Radio they wouldn’t be pausing long: “We have June off for the baby … but so much of this year’s scheduled … if I stop touring we can’t afford to have a baby.” Despite this, they plan to juggle tours and parenthood—and recently purchased a Nashville home for their growing family.
