It’s an exciting time to be a Minnesota Vikings fan, and the same might go for the players.
With the season just around the corner, they’ll look to prove that they’re far better than some analysts expect, and why not? Maybe even make a run at the division.
That’s why star TE TJ Hockenson decided to make the most of his free time to get married to his fiancé, Mikala Brown.
The newlyweds celebrated their union in Hawaii on Monday, according to MLFootball.
Once he gets back to full strength, Hockenson should be an integral part of their passing game.
He’s been one of the best players on the team since arriving there midway through the 2022 season, and he was even better in his first full campaign with the organization.
With Justin Jefferson out, Hockenson stepped up in a big way, hauling in 95 receptions for 960 yards and five touchdowns.
Unfortunately, he tore his ACL and MCL in Week 16 in the loss vs. the Detroit Lions.
There’s still no timetable for his return and some fear he might not be able to play in 2024 at all.
He’s still under contract through the 2027 season, so the Vikings might want to play it safe with him after giving him a four-year, $66 million deal, especially with them looking to build for the future around J.J. McCarthy.
