When gunshots broke out close to a nightclub in Central Florida early on Sunday, wide receiver Tank Dell was shot and injured, according to the Houston Texans.

The 24-year-old receiver, according to the Texans, was “in good spirits” when he was discharged from the hospital later on Sunday.
“Please respect his privacy for the time being. We are in contact with him and his family and will provide more details as needed. The group continued, “Everyone impacted by this tragedy is in our thoughts and prayers.”
The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office reported in an arrest document obtained by Orlando NBC affiliate WESH that the shooting occurred as a consequence of a fight outside the Cabana Live nightclub.
Ten people were injured when a 16-year-old suspect who wasn’t participating in the fight opened fire, according to the authorities. It is anticipated that every victim will live.
Shortly after shots were fired, a security guard tackled the gunman, stopping the bloodshed, according to the police.
The teenage gunman was taken into custody and charged with attempted murder as well as several other felonies involving firearms, according to the sheriff’s office.
During the Texans’ breakthrough season in 2023, Dell was just one of several shining moments. Before his season was cut short in December due to a fractured fibula, he finished with over 700 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games.
