Tennessee gunslinger Joe Milton is drafted by the New England Patriots.

As Josh Heupel’s starting quarterback in his first season as head coach, Milton moved to Tennessee from Michigan. After losing to Hendon Hooker for the position in 2021, he took a seat behind Hooker in 2022, then in 2023 he was given the go-ahead to lead the Vols.
In his final season, he completed his passes for 2,813 yards, 20 passing touchdowns, and five interceptions. Milton was a dual-threat quarterback for the Vols in 2023, rushing for 299 yards and seven touchdowns.
