Another Good News: Just In NEW ORLEANS SAINTS Confirm The Signing Of Another Top Sensational Star Player

Lucas Patrick, an offensive lineman for the Chicago Bears, is set to sign a one-year contract with the New Orleans Saints on Monday, according to his representatives Joel Turner and Justin.

The addition of depth to the offensive line—a position that the Saints redesigned this offseason—is made possible by this transaction. With guard James Hurst retiring, left tackle Andrus Peat leaving in free agency, and right tackle Ryan Ramczyk dealing with a persistent knee condition that may keep him from playing football again, New Orleans may need to start three new players up front.

This spring, the Saints have addressed the trenches with a great deal of resources. Last month, New Orleans selected tackle Taliese Fuaga with the 14th overall choice. Josiah Ezirim of Eastern Kentucky was selected in the seventh round by the same team, which also included another tackle. The Saints signed Justin Herron, Shane Lemieux, and Oli Udoh in free agency to contend for a variety of slots.

During his 16 games with the Bears last season, Patrick, 30, started 15 of them. He signed a two-year, $8 million contract with Chicago in 2022, and played there for two seasons. The 6-foot-3, 316-pound tackle spent five seasons with the Green Bay Packers before joining the league as an undrafted free agent.

Since 2020, he has started 48 of 56 games as a full-time starter. Due to a toe injury, he was only able to play in seven games in 2022 and missed the final ten games. Although Patrick has experience playing all three interior spots, he mostly played center last season. In 2022, he switched between playing left guard and right guard.

Last season, Erik McCoy started every one of the Saints’ 17 games at center.
