Breaking News: Just In Houston Texans Just Confirm The Signing Of Two Super Star Players …..

The Houston Texans selected seven players in the 2024 NFL Draft, including Marcus Harris and Kamari Lassiter, to their first NFL contracts.

Lassiter, a cornerback from Tuscaloosa’s American Christian Academy, was selected by Houston on April 25th in the second round of the draft.

Harris, an Auburn defensive tackle, was selected by the Texans on April 27 in the seventh round of the draft.

Lassiter, the 42nd pick, agreed to a $9.015 million, four-year contract.
Harris, who was selected with the 247th overall pick, agreed to a $4.105 million four-year deal.
Every player selected is given a four-year contract. The pick number, the NFL’s salary cap of $255.4 million for the 2024 season, and this year’s rookie compensation pool are the basis for the contract values. This methodology is outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the league and its players association.

Friday marked the start of the Texans’ two-day rookie minicamp for eligible second-year players, newly signed undrafted rookies, draft picks, and tryout prospects.
